A workshop
for the puswp in Bethlehem
A workshop
about ( a regulatory policy and a code of
ethics for the professions in the social and
psychological fileds) took place on
12-13/8/2004 at the meeting hall in the
bethlehem PUSWP and it was attended by 20
representatives from the PUSWP different
cities in the west bank.
This workshop
was organized as a part of the union active
policies of forming a general role to
protect & organize the social workers &
psychologists.
Ms. Nabila
Daqaq , the union secratery welcomed the
participant acknowledged their intrest and
participant despite the closure .
Mr.farid
jaber the executive director , presented
about the project & the importance of
activity the different branch of the union
by
closing the general elections &
forming an executive committee.

The
Palestinian PUSWP became a member of the
international IFSW
Bethlehem
public relations department
The
international federation of the puswp as a
permanent member according to the
recommendation of the international
federation meeting which will took place in
idalet city in Australia 29/9/-2/10 which
was followed by the international conference
from 3/10-5/10 where the international
federation decisions recognizing Bethlehem
puswp as a member was approved.
The Bethlehem
puswp was represented by Mr. farid jaber &
Adnan atyah . The union is looking for
participating in the next international
conference which will take place in Germany
in 2006.

Workshop
about ( creating job opportunities PUSWP in
Bethlehem)
The PUSWP in
Bethlehem organized a workshop about
activating and upgrading the role of the
social workers & psyclogists in the civil
society organization as a part of the
creating job opportunities project .
The workshop
took place at the Bethlehem PUSWP and was
attended by representative of a number of
the organization in Bethlehem .
The workshop
focused on identifying the project , its
approaches , and the need for activity &
upgrading the role of the social workers to
professionals levels .
Mr.farid
jaber , the executive director , gave a
presentation about the importance &
necessity of creating job opportunities for
the unemployed social workers.

The PUSWP
elections in Jerusalem
Jerusalem:
the establishing committee of the puswp in
Jerusalem had organized a meeting for the
general assembly in the YMCA meeting hall to
carry on the first administration elections
of the union , the elections were attended &
supervised by the general unions of workers
represented by Mr.Manuel Abdel al , a member
of the executive staff of the union.
7 members
were nominated & elected :1. Mosab abbas ,
Enas shawish , Imad Agaouni , Nabil abed
allah , Rania Algawi , Issa alrabdi , yasser
Qoss.

Music Therapy
Workshop
Bethlehem:
A Music
Therapy Workshop was carried on at the PUSWP
at Bethlehem in coordinating with Adenbra
University in Scotland . The head of the
Music Department in Adenbra University
presented about the Music Therapy on
theoretical & scientific terms .
The workshop
was attended By 20 social workers &
psychologists from Bethlehem representing a
number of organizations in Bethlehem .
The workshop
lasted for three days & certifiacts were
given to the participants .

Elections at
the puswp in Hebron
Hebron: The
elections of the PUSWP of Hebron took place
at the hebron culture center meeting hall.
The elections
were attended by Mr. Fathi Jaradat , the
director of the national organization office
, & Mr.Anwar Doudeen, a representative of
the ministry of labor , Mrs.Kifah Manasra
from the PUSWP in Bethlehem.
The
administrative staff resigned after reading
the administrative & financial report . &
the elections started, then 7 persons were
nominated:1. Riad Arar , Yousef Rabi , Amal
Algoebe , Shoket ALshraouneh, Maged Garadat
IBrahim ALmasri , Mison Alsharif..
